26th November 2008, this day will remember as the black day of the Indian History the biggest terrorists attack held in Mumbai. It shows the complete failure of Intelligence agencies and the biggest loop hole for our Indian security system. The terrorist attack was well planned and they were well trained, before attacking on Mumbai. They arrived by sea route to Mumbai. They attacked 11 places across Mumbai. They fired and launched the granite attack at Cama Hospital, GT Hospital, VT Station, Oberoi - Trident Hotel, Taj Hotel, Wadi Bunder, Outside Metro Cinema, Girgaum Chowpatty, Petrol Pump near Bootleggers pub. They held hostages at Taj Hotel, Oberoi - Trident Hotel, and Nariman house.
We got the biggest setback by losing our three top police officers Anti-Terror Squad chief – Hemant Karkare, Encounter cop – Vijay Salaskar, Additional CP – Ashok Kamte in the terrorist attack.
Now the battle is over, Life is coming back on track. Mumbai started living the life as usual and as the time will pass everybody will forget this incident. But the question is that till when we Mumbaikar will face this situation again and again? Why there is no guarantee for the people’s life?
Politicians play the blame game. State Government blames the Central Government. Oppositions Party Blame the Government. Government of India Blame the Neighboring country and so on. See where we are heading. At this situation do we think it is good to blame each other or rather than to come together and get united and fight against terrorism? Forget about the vote bank politics, the time has come now to think beyond the vote bank, think beyond the borders, think beyond the religions. Terrorism is not only affected in India but it is affecting in all parts of the world.
Our Indian Politicians please grow up be united and start working together constructively to fight against Terrorism.
I am giving tribute to those people who have died in the terrorist attack.
